4 Mil Gauge Copper Foil, Pre-Cut Copper Sheets and 25 lb. Bulk Rolls can all be purchased here. 4 Mil Copper Foil (0.004") is high quality copper used extensively for manufacturing and R&D projects. It has a wide range of applications based on conductivity, corrosion resistance, workability, and beauty.
Approximately 7-8 times as thick as average household aluminum foil (i.e., .0005″) or approximately the thickness of a sheet of copier paper (.004″).
A good choice when 5 mil (.005″) seems a little too thick or heavy.
Easy to cut with scissors or paper cutter.
Does not tear by hand.
Dead soft, very pliable.
